Not only is the second Art War around the corner, Art War 2013 Veteran, and first place winner Corinne Beardsley has arrived to claim her prize!

Head On: New Sculptures by Corinne Beardsley, will be open to the public May 2nd and run through June 21st. Beardsley presents a new series of sculptural heads, which are preservation of gestural movements in clay.  Some confront viewers with their monolithic scale and mass, while others pull viewers in for a more intimate interaction. They are inspired by human expression, emotion, and play.

An Artist Reception is 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 16, during the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District’s monthly Third Friday celebration. She will give a talk about her work on May 8, 2014 at 6pm in the gallery.
