Music, discussion, and wine!

Facultyshowinstall1Join the Salisbury University Art and Music Departments on Friday, February 8th for an exciting night of discussions, musical recitals, and receptions! We will begin the day with a Q&A format panel discussion at 3 p.m. in Fulton Hall Room 111, with the 2013 Faculty Exhibition participants, followed by a recital by Music Department Faculty from 5-6 p.m. in Room 112. The evening culminates with a reception at 6 p.m. in the University Gallery.

Exhibiting faculty include: Jeanne Anderton, Karen Bearman, Gary Brotman, Edward Brown, Alison Chism, Jessica Cross Davis, Helene English, Paul Flexner, Carl Goldhagen, James Hill, Marjorie Hill, Susan Holt, Elizabeth Kauffman, Jinchul Kim, Somiah Lattimore, Lucia Michel, Sally Molenda, John Mosher, Pamela Olszewski, Dean Peterson, and Brooke Rogers. This is the first SU Art Galleries exhibition curated by Galleries Manager Marisa Sage.

Pavane de la belle au bois dormant (Pavane for a sleeping beauty) by Maurice Ravel (1845-1924) edited by Gayle Kowalchyk and E. L. Lancaster from Ma Mere L’oye, (Mother Goose Suite) performed by Susan E. Zimmer and William M. Folger, pianists

Two Spirituals  arr. Rodney Stuckey Performed by John Wesley Wright, tenor and Danielle Cumming, guitar
