The Book of Everyday Instruction is a project by New York artist and public practitioner, Chloë Bass, exploring one-on-one social interaction. Chapter Two: Things I’ve seen people do lately, explores the dynamics of voyeurism: what does it mean to be a duo when only one person (the watcher) knows that the pairing exists? Part observation-based text installation, part video peephole, this exhibit demonstrates the poetics of how we come together accidentally.
