SU Art Galleries | Downtown
February 15 - March 30
Reception: 3rd Friday, February 15, 5-7pm
Artist Talk: 3rd Friday, February 15, 4pm Faculty artists will be present to briefly discuss their work with Gallery Director, Elizabeth Kauffman
The creative process often mirrors the scientific method: artists make observations of the world around them, conduct experiments and then analyze those creative risks to form a conclusion or finished piece. The types of experiments art faculty make are often related to their teaching, either as fodder for instruction or as a spark lit by their time in the classroom. This exhibition will include our Art Faculty’s latest experiments from the studio and beyond.
The opening reception for the exhibition will take place on 3rd Friday, February 15th from 5-7 pm. There will be an informal art talk led by Gallery Director, Elizabeth Kauffman at 4pm preceding the opening reception on February 15th.
All events are free and open to the public.
