From tapestries that enact transtemporal drag performance to fabricated, washed-out urban landscapes that refer to photography’s relationship to what is “real”, this exhibition presents four artists’ distinct approaches to reflecting the current moment of being. The artwork in this show weaves together materials and meaning in ways that mimic the complexities of life, resulting in beautifully palpable artifacts.
