All My Children Sleep in the Sea

Trash Cairn by Rachel Schmidt

SU Art Galleries is pleased to present All My Children Sleep in the Sea, a solo exhibition of works by DC artist Rachel Schmidt. The exhibition will be on view at the University Gallery September 23 - December 7.

Rachel Schmidt uses time-based media and installation to explore ex-urbanization and its impact on aquatic ecosystems. This transformative experience delves into future landscapes and the role that myth plays in our understanding of the environment.

Schmidt will give an artist talk on Thursday, October 24, 5:30pm in FH 111, followed by a reception at the University Gallery. The events are free and the public is warmly invited.

The University Gallery is located on the first floor of Fulton Hall on the Salisbury University Campus, 1101 Camden Avenue.
