SU Art Galleries | Downtown is excited to announce its first Spring exhibition, titled Habitat. Opening on February 18 and featuring the work of artists Amber Eve Anderson, Raghvi Bhatia, Garret Kane, Matt Mottel and Carlie Trosclair, the exhibit explores the human habitat past, present and future through photography, installation, sculpture and new media. Join us for a public reception and Dirt Woman's album release party on Friday, March 13, at 7:30 pm.

Artist Matt Mottel will lead a Dome Building Workshop on February 13 at 12 pm at SU Art Galleries | Downtown. The workshop is open to individuals at all skill levels. Join us for the reconstruction of a 16’ geodesic dome! On the same day at 5:30 pm, Mottel will present an artist talk on main campus in Conway Hall 153. Both events are free and the public is warmly invited. 

Seeing Sounds #10 will feature Matt Mottel's real-time interactive performance the Image is a Seed, anchored by the historic photographic archive of artist Matt Mottel's father, Syeus Mottel. Syeus, a diaristic photographer, documented significant artistic happenings and political demonstrations of the era. Join us for this live multimedia event on February 15 at 7 pm at SU Art Galleries | Downtown.

Amber Eve Anderson will give an artist lecture on March 26 at 5:30 at Salisbury University Art Galleries | Downtown. Anderson has a conceptual and multidisciplinary arts practice that pairs personal narrative with larger notions of place, landscape, and memory.
