Aric Snee: I Can Hear the Ocean

Part nostalgia, part fiction, this exhibition is a speculative space where familiar domestic objects are pushed up to the edge of fantasy. This solo show by Associate Professor of Art in Hot Glass, Aric Snee, combines qualities of design, fine art, and craft to create an installation that is a space of both experimentation and discovery.

​Aric Snee is an artist and designer who has been working with glass for over 20 years. He worked for Steuben Glass in New York where he earned the rank of Master Glassworker. Later he received a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from Alfred University in New York.  In 2014, Aric began working as a designer for the Danish design company Holmegaard. Currently he is an Assistant Professor and head of the glass department at Salisbury University.
