“Málaga Interior” is an exhibition showcasing artistic works created by students from various disciplines, all inspired by their study abroad experiences in Málaga, Spain at different points in their academic careers. The exhibition aims to celebrate the transformative power of studying abroad and the ability of art to reflect deep, internal experiences such as those. It also seeks to promote the study abroad program in Málaga at Salisbury University. Featured works include drawings, photographs, musical pieces, and poems, highlighting not just the non-touristic side of Málaga but its inner essence. The exhibition also explores how each participant’s encounter with the city’s cultural life has shaped their personal growth and inner experiences.

This exhibition not only highlights the significance of studying abroad but also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the study abroad program in Málaga, the longest-running active program at Salisbury University. By showcasing the transformative experiences of students, it emphasizes the value of intercultural competencies and language learning, both of which are critical for preparing students to thrive in a globalized world. The exhibition is particularly timely as Salisbury University celebrates its centennial, reflecting its long-standing commitment to fostering global engagement, cultural exchange, and academic excellence. This exhibition serves as a tribute to the university’s dedication to enhancing students' educational experiences and broadening their perspectives.
